01 / Toll payment

Travelled on the M50?
Here’s how to pay.

You can pay the toll on eFlow.ie, at a Payzone outlet or through eFlow’s official telephone service.

2026 rates · Checked on 5 October 2026

How to pay without an account

For a one-off payment, use the official eFlow “Pay a Toll” section — an account is optional.

  1. Check who is paying for the journey

If you have a rental car, check the rental terms first. If the toll is covered by an active tag or agreement, confirm how it will be charged to avoid paying twice.

  2. Open the official payment page

Have your vehicle registration number and journey details ready. Check the registration number and number of journeys carefully before confirming payment.

  3. Keep your confirmation

Keep your receipt or receipt number. It may help if there is a query about your payment.

Enter vehicle and card details only on the official eFlow website. This guide does not accept payments.

When payment is due

If you pay the toll yourself, the deadline is 8pm on the day after your journey, Irish local time.

For example: if you travel on Monday, pay by 8pm on Tuesday. The deadline is not exactly 24 hours after your journey.

If the deadline has passed, see the penalties section for guidance on paying outstanding charges.
